In the fourth quarter of 2024, several news and magazine apps on the Android platform in Slovakia demonstrated varied performance metrics. According to Sensor Tower data, here's a closer look at the top five applications in this category.

X (Formerly Twitter) from X Corp. showed a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.1K in early December. Its weekly downloads fluctuated around 700, with a peak of 835 at the end of December. The app's active users started at around 54.6K, climbing to over 62.9K by the quarter's end.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 250 per week. Active users saw a gradual increase, starting at 4.6K and reaching over 5.4K by the end of December.

RTL.hu hírek, sztárok, videók experienced a sharp rise in active users in November, starting from 182 and peaking at 2.3K. Downloads saw an initial spike to 1.1K but decreased to 57 by mid-December.

Opera News: breaking & local had a steady download pattern with minor fluctuations, peaking at 147 downloads in mid-October. Active users remained stable around 1.2K throughout the quarter.

Finally, Way2News Daily News App witnessed an increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, reaching 227 in early December. Active users also saw a peak in mid-November at 15.4K, before settling around 12.6K by the year's end.
